History of Sri JinadaththaViharaya
This temple is more than 90 years old. The shrine room of this temple was constructed in the year 1965. The school and the nursery school too were commenced in this temple. The first resident monk of this temple was Ven. Walasgala Sri Jinadaththa thero. It is said that this monk came to reside in this temple in 1984. The shrine room of this temple was constructed with the auspices of the mistress of Ipitakatuwa Walawwa.

• මෙම විහාරස්ථානය දැනට අවුරුදු 90කට වඩා පැරණි බව සඳහන් වේ.
• මෙම විහාරයේ බුදුගෙයි නිර්මාණය කරන ලද්දේ 1965 වර්ෂයේ ය
• පාසල හා ළදරු පාසලද ආරම්භ කරන ලද්දේ මෙම විහාරස්ථානයේය
• මෙම විහාරස්ථානයේ ප්‍රථම ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ වලස්ගල ශ්‍රී ජිනදත්ත හිමියන් ය.
• මෙම ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේ 1984 වර්ෂයේ මෙහි පැමිණ ඇති බව සඳහන් ය
• මෙම විහාරයේ බුදුගෙය සෑදීමට දායකත්වය දැක්වූයේ ‘ඉපිටකඩුව වලව්වේ පදිංචිව සිටි හාමිනේගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙනි.
• මෙම විහාරස්ථානය දැනට අවුරුදු 90කට වඩා පැරණි බව සඳහන් වේ.
• මෙම විහාරයේ බුදුගෙයි නිර්මාණය කරන ලද්දේ 1965 වර්ෂයේ ය

இந்த விஹாரை இற்றைக்கு 90 வருடங்கள் பழமை வாய்ந்தது.
இந்த விஹாரை புத்த பெருமானுக்கான வழிபாட்டு மண்டபம் 1965இல் நிர்மாணிக்கப்பட்டது.
பாடசாலையும், பாலர் பாடசாலையும் இந்த விஹாரையில் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த விஹாரையின் முதலாவது குரு வலஸ்ஸ ஸ்ரீ ஜினருத்த தேரராளர்.
இந்தத் தேரர் 1934ஆம் ஆண்டு இங்கு வந்தார்.
இந்த விஹாரையின் வழிபாட்டு மண்டபத்தை நிர்மாணிக்க இல்பிபடகலெ வளவில் வசித்த ஹாமினே நடவடிக்கை எடுத்தார்.
