Porwai Jumma Mohideen Mosque
The people of our village were leaving the other side of the river in those days. Subsequently a man so a must in his dream when the people of the village constructed this Mosque then the people from Galle who came gem business to our Village called this mosque Godapitiya Poorwai Jummah Mosque.
This mosque was constructed before 1980, this mosque renovated by English in 1915. All the people from our village take part in the religious event at this mosque.

පොර්වායි ජුම්මා මොහිඩීන් පල්ලිය
අපේ ගම්මානය පෙර පිහිටියේ ගගෙන් එගොඩය. ඉන් පසුව ගම්වැසියෙකුට සිහිනෙන් දර්ගා සලකුණ දිස්වූ බැවින් ජනතාව එතන පල්ලියක් සාදා පසුව එහි පදිංචි වූහ. ඉන් පසුව ගාල්ලේ සිට පැමිණි මැණික් වෙලෙන්දෝ එම දර්ගාවට ආවරණයක් සැදු බැවින් මෙය ගොඩපිටිය පොර්වේ යන නාමයෙන් හදුන්වන ලදි. මෙම පල්ලිය 1890 ගණන්වල නිර්මාණය විය.

எமது ஊர் மக்கள் முற்காலத்தில் ஆற்றுக்கு மறுபக்கம் இருந்தனர். பின்னர் ஒரு மனிதருக்கு கனவில் தற்பொழுது பள்ளிவாயல் உள்ள இடத்தில் ஒரு தர்கா தென்பட அங்குள்ள மக்கள் இப்பிரதேசத்துக்கு வந்து குடியமர்ந்து பள்ளிவாயலை கட்டினர். பின்னர் காலியிலிருந்து வந்த மாணிக்க வியாபாரிகள் தற்காவிற்கு போர்வை ஒன்றை இட்ட பின் கொடபிட்டிய “போர்வை” என அழைக்கப்படுகின்ற எமது இப்பள்ளிவாயல் 1890 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கு முற்பட்ட காலத்தில் நிர்மாணிக்கப்பட்டது. 1915 இல் ஆங்கிலேயரினால் புனர்நிர்மாணம செய்யப்பட்டது.
இப்பள்ளிவாயலில் வருடந்தோறும் நடைபெறும் பாரிய கந்தூரியில் அனைத்து மதத்தினரும் ஒற்றுமையாக கலந்து சிறப்பிக்கின்றனர்.
