About the sea
On 2004.12.26, the sea came to our village. This catastrophe caused massive damage to our village. The school got destroyed. The temple was completely destroyed. Only the Buddha statue at the temple survived. The chief monk at our temple was taken by the tsunami. We lost about 100 people from our village that day. Our school was destroyed. We didn't have food. We are grateful to everyone who helped after the Tsunami.

2004 දෙසැම්බර් 25 දින අපගේ ගම්මානය ට මුහුද ගොඩ ගැලිය. එම විනාසය අපේ ගමට විශාල හානියක් සිදු විය.
අපේ ගමේ පන්සලේ තිබු සියලු දේ විනාශ විය, ඉතිරි වුයේ බුදු පිළිම පමණි. අපේ පන්සලේ ලොකු හාමුදුරුවෝ සුනාමියට ගහ ගෙන ගියා. අපේ ගමේ මිනිසුන් 100 පමණ මිය ගියා. අපේ පාසලත් එයින් විනාශ වුණා. එම හේතුවෙන් අපිට අහාර නොමැති විය. අප සියලු දෙනාටම එම අවස්ථාවේ උදවූ කල සියලු දෙනාටම ස්තුතියි.
