When the harvest is nearing the end, elephants enter into our house as well as neighboring houses and destroy the crops. At that time we were very sad and ran away with fear. These elephants come at the final stage of harvesting. No one has given a solution to this problem.

අස්වැන්න නෙලා අවසන් කාලයේ අලි අපේ ගෙදරටත්" අහල පහල තිබෙන ගෙවල් වලටත් එනවා. ඇවිල්ල වගාව විනාශ කරනවා. ඒ වෙලාවෙ අපි හරියට දුක්වෙනවා’ බය වෙලා දුවනවා. ගොයමි කපලා අවසන් වුණාට පසු අලි එනවා. මෙිකට අපට කාගෙන්වත් විසඳුමක් ලැබුණෙ නැහැ.

அறுவடை முடியும் காலத்தில் யானைகள் எங்கள் வீடுகளுக்கும், அருகிலுள்ளவர்களின் வீடுகளுக்கும் வந்து பயிர்களை அழித்து விடும். இச்சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் நாங்கள் மிகவூம் கவலையடைந்தும் பயமடைந்தும் ஓடினோம். வேளாண்மை முடியும் காலத்தில் இவ் யானைகள் வருகின்றது. இதற்கு எங்களுக்கு யாரும் எத்தீர்வூம் பெற்றுத் தரவில்லை.
